Resumen

The Accounts Payable Agent I will process the AIT's accounts payables in a timely manner. This role will prepare payments for expense vouchers and invoices, and
completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

Responsabilidades


  • Verify accuracy of invoices and schedules payments to vendors, customers, and creditors

  • Enter invoices and purchase orders into financial systems, obtains internal approval

  • Maintains historical records by filing documents with scanning department, and generate routine balance reports. Prepare and perform check runs

  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

  • Maintain vendors files and accounting documentation

  • Coordinate vendor's billing and collections activities. Handle their inquiries and negotiate with past-due accounts


  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Calificaciones

Education
• High School Diploma (Required) and

• Associate's Degree Associates Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field (Preferred)

Experience
• 1+ years Work experience in accounting and/or knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures (Required) and

• 3+ years Proficient in MS Word, Excel, CargoWise experience (Preferred) or

• 1+ years Knowledge of transportation industry and office experience (Preferred)
